How do we provide the best care for those of us managing ongoing healthcare conditions in a cost-effective way? With our aging population and increasing healthcare costs, we have been introducing technology to help with these challenges for decades. Unfortunately most of these technologies have fallen short because they are not engaging and fail to keep us coming back and using them. (How many of you have a fitness tracker or two in a drawer somewhere?)
We started Catalia Health last year to help patients with chronic disease better manage their own care. Our Mabu personal healthcare companions (think real-life Baymax) will be talking hundreds of patients soon to help them with their daily activities and reporting data back to their doctors, pharmacists, and family members.
